About CFDD


CFDD of North Carolina is the Raleigh Chapter of the Credit and Financial Development Division of the National Association of Credit Management.

The purpose and objectives of the (City) Chapter of the National Association of Credit Management’s (NACM) Credit Financial Development Division (CFDD) shall be to promote an active interest in the credit and financial profession, to promote the educational programs that are vital to the development of the effective professional, and to be a viable force within the NACM network.
Triangle CFDD meets on the third Wednesday of each month. A guest speaker presents appropriate topics which are beneficial to members’ professional development. Guest speakers have included NC Secretary of State, Elaine F. Marshall; Wake County Sheriff, Donnie Harrison; Caroline Farmer, Attorney with the NC Department of Justice; Magistrates with Wake and Johnston County Worthless Check Programs; many local Attorneys representing Construction and Bankruptcy law; just to name a few.
Over the last twelve years CFDD has sponsored educational seminars and a golf tournament, where the proceeds went to multiple charities.
Our Chapter is very privileged to be able to contribute scholarship funds to NACM National and CFDD National, as well as donate to the community through local charities. A few of the local charities that have received donations from Triangle CFDD are: Food Bank of Central & Eastern NC; Raleigh Rescue Mission; Wake County K-9 Unit; US Troops./Afghanistan & Iraq; 20th Engineering Brigade at Fort Bragg; Wake Med Kid's Day; Wake County Meals on Wheels; and the American Cancer Society. Membership in the Triangle CFDD Chapter provides a strong network of credit professionals and topics that are eligible for educational credit.
CFDD Mission Statement
The mission of the NACM Credit and Financial Development Division shall be to promote active interest in the credit and financial profession, to develop and market educational programs that are vital to the development of the effective professional, and to be a viable force within the NACM network.

To dynamically impact the National Association of Credit Management's global vision by being the leader in educational programming and direction, thereby setting industry standards for professional excellence.
Membership Requirements

CFDD is comprised of:

Chapters - individual members employed by firms holding membership in any NACM affiliated association, or are members of the Credit Research Foundation.

Direct Members - individuals who are employed by firms holding membership in any NACM affiliated association, or are members of the Credit Research Foundation.
